Late 20th Century Baluch Rugs

Now in 2010 these rugs are pretty well gone. Ten years ago they seemed to be in endless supply and very inexpensive but now the market has dried up. My good friend Zia Hassanzadeh tells me that he no longer sees these in the bazaar in Herat or Kabul Afghanistan. These weavers are now weaving Vegetable Dyed Carpets for the export market.
