The Paropamisus Mountains |
Paropamisus Mountains or Paropamisus is the old name for the western Hindu Kush Mountain Range. It takes in the Siah Koh, Safed Koh, Chalap Dalan, and Malmand Mountains and the area roughly from Herat in the west and Bagram in the west. Bagram is not on the map above but it is north by northeat of Kabul just south of where the road crosses valley that Bamian is in. |
