Baluch Square Pile & Flatweave Rug 20th C

Baluch Square Pile & Flatweave Rug 20th C

If this rug were not Asymmetrical knot open to the left I would have attributed it to the Afshar of northern Khorasan. But since it is asymmetrical knot open left and has the bands of twining I will go with an attribution of Baluch. The square format is more common in northen Khorasan.
